Our story begins in September of 2019, our senior year of high school, during a county music festival. At the festival, we ended up in a similar location through some mutual friends, and started up conversation. This quickly led to a first date and us becoming a couple. We each put plenty of miles on our vehicles driving back and forth from Bardstown to Louisville, rushing to make curfew!

Once high school graduation came we both made our way to the state of Alabama for college. This chapter of life set us 157 miles from each other via Highway 82. College gave us the very best friends and memories, and ultimately strengthened our love for one another, despite the Auburn vs Alabama rivalry!

At the end of four long, fun years, Phoebe began medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and Sam began his career in engineering in Bowling Green. After five total years of longish distance, we decided to move to the same town. Since moving back to Kentucky, we have created a great life together with our sweet pets, Fish and Cowboy.

In October of 2025, we got engaged on the Bunting's front porch. A place that held many long distance goodbyes became the place we began forever together. We are so happy and excited to celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of our lives with everyone!
